Yangju, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, 20 October 2025  Equalbase, a Singapore-headquartered sustainable industrial real asset developer, will build a high-specification Build-to-Suit (BTS) logistics facility for ACT&CORE, a leading Korean logistics provider. The project, known as the Yangju Logistics Center, will feature a Gross Floor Area (GFA) of approximately 38,000 square meters (11,500 pyeong) and comprises two lower and four above-ground levels designed for ambient-temperature operations.

Located in Ipam-ri, Nammyeon, Yangju-si, within Gyeonggi Province, the site contributes to Korea’s growing logistics landscape by adding modern, efficient warehousing capacity aligned with evolving industry needs. Its position supports regional logistics operations and complements ongoing infrastructure development across the province.

“We are very pleased to partner with Equalbase, a company widely recognized for its expertise and reliability in the logistics industry, on the Yangju BTS project,” said Mr. Yoo, CEO of ACT&CORE. “We are confident that this collaboration will provide ACT&CORE with strong momentum in Korea’s e-commerce and distribution logistics sector. We also look forward to deepening our partnership with Equalbase, building on each other’s strengths to achieve greater success together.”

The industrial facility is designed to achieve international sustainability standards, targeting LEED Gold certification under Equalbase sustainability plan.

“This project with ACT&CORE demonstrates Equalbase’s commitment to providing tailored solutions for global and local clients,” said Ted Shin, South Korea Managing Director, Equalbase. “It also highlights Korea’s growing importance as a strategic hub for e-commerce logistics, and Equalbase is proud to provide the expertise and capital strength to deliver stable, quality developments that meet the evolving needs of the market.”

Equalbase has formalized key partnerships to ensure smooth project execution and long-term asset performance. Capstone Asset Management will oversee the development through a dedicated project financing vehicle, leveraging its deep local expertise. Yojin Construction & Engineering will lead construction and quality assurance, while Northmod acts as the fund manager at the Singapore level.

“This project in Yangju reflects the kind of opportunity we seek to support — one that aligns sustainable development with sound investment fundamentals,” said Paul Lee, Managing Partner of Northmod. “We’re pleased to back a project that strengthens Korea’s logistics sector while creating long-term value for investors.”

Equalbase, being one of the few international developers active in Korea, continues to expand its portfolio in the region, building a pipeline of sustainable, high-specification industrial assets designed to create lasting value for both global and domestic partners.
